Summer Concerts
Join us for free music al fresco at the town gazebo! Here’s the line up for summer 2011, presented by the Main Street Cafe in conjunction with the Groton Parks Commission. All concerts, weather permitting, are Saturday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the town gazebo behind the Library. Refreshments are available from Main Street Cafe.
- July 9 — The Spy Tones: Original surf band. Perfect way to start our summer concerts.
- July 16 — Blue Taxi: Groton’s favorite jazz, blues and roots music trio.
- July 23 — JD West: Light acoustic rock.
- July 30 — Kenny Selcer: sizzling blend of folk, rock, blues, roots, reggae, & everything in between.
- August 6 — Fab4Ever: It’s going to be a Hard Day’s Night.
- August 13 — Groton’s Got Talent performs Woodstock: Entertaining talent show featuring our neighbors.
- August 20 — Artie Kenyon with Carl Johnson: Eclectric Americana: blues, rock, country, folk.
- August 27 — GS Picard: Bridges the gap between folk and rock with a special blend of originals. Joined by Marc Feldman on lead guitar.
- September 3 — Gary Wilson Blues Project: Hard-hitting blues.
