Join us Thursdays at 10:00 at the Authors’ Table, where local writers — published and aspring — gather to sign books (and perhaps to sell a few!), trade tips and advice, and just generally hang out with anyone interested in the craft of writing.

Authors Table events will resume on Thursday January 7.

• On Thursday Dec. 17 at 10:00, come by the cafe to greet local authors Marie L. Leonard and Molly Salans. Marie's book is Marie's Home Improvement Guide, and it gives you the tools to tackle all your home improvement projects — save money, build confidence, and do-it-yourself. Molly is the author of Storytelling With Children in Crisis. She worked for the state in home-based crisis intervention — where she met many impoverished families. Her unique approach made for a wonderful inspiring book.
• Stop by on Thursday Dec. 10 at 10:00 to meet David Brody. His book Cabal of the Westford Knight is a groundbreaking suspense novel inspired by the legend of the Westford Knight. The legend recounts how Scottish explorers secretly visited Westford, Massachusetts in 1398, where they carved an effigy in stone to commemorate the death of a fallen comrade, a carving that remains visible today. But who were these explorers, and why had they come? The life of the story’s modern-day protagonist depends on finding the answers.
• On Thursday Dec. 3 at 10:00, Betsy Fitzgerald presnts her first novel, October Run. Reviewers are callling it a “page turner” and “lyrical.” See Betsy’s Web site.
• On Thursday Nov. 19 from 10:00 to 11:00, local authors Linda Saraco returns, this week in company with Peter Macy, author of the recently published Hanna’s Gift and Hannah’s Valentine.
• On Thursday Nov. 12 from 10:00 to 11:00, meet local authors C.R. Lindemer and Linda Saraco. Christine will have two of her books: Beauly the Donkey-Mooing Beltie and True Cow Tales: Literary Sketches and Stories by Farmers, Ranchers, and Dairy Princesses. Linda’s book Agnes Rose’s One Song will be coming out in a week.
